By accessing nexgenresearch.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms you must not use our website or place an order.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version published on nexgenresearch.com at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.

2. Researcher eligibility

NexGen Research supplies research-grade compounds exclusively to qualified scientific professionals for legitimate laboratory research purposes. By placing an order you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or over
  • You are a qualified researcher, scientist, laboratory professional, or academic operating within a legitimate scientific or research environment
  • You have the knowledge, training, and facilities to handle research-grade compounds safely and lawfully
  • You are purchasing solely for legitimate laboratory research purposes
  • You are not purchasing for personal use, human consumption, veterinary use, or any purpose other than legitimate scientific research
  • You are not subject to any legal prohibition on purchasing research compounds in your jurisdiction
  • All information you provide to us is accurate and truthful

At checkout, you must tick a mandatory researcher confirmation checkbox confirming the above. Ticking this checkbox forms part of your contract with us and constitutes a legal representation. If any of the above is untrue, you are not permitted to place an order and any order placed will be void.

NexGen Research reserves the right to cancel any order at any time if we have reasonable grounds to believe that these eligibility requirements are not met. In such cases a full refund will be issued.

3. Research use only

All compounds sold by NexGen Research are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research use only by qualified professionals.

  • Our compounds are NOT approved for human consumption
  • Our compounds are NOT approved for veterinary use
  • Our compounds are NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
  • Our compounds are NOT food supplements, medicines, or regulated pharmaceutical products
  • Our compounds must NOT be administered to humans or animals

Any use of NexGen Research compounds outside of legitimate laboratory research is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms. NexGen Research accepts no liability whatsoever for any use of its compounds outside of their intended research purpose.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your receipt, storage, handling, and use of any compound purchased from NexGen Research complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines in your jurisdiction.

4. Orders and contract formation

4.1 Placing an order

When you place an order on nexgenresearch.com you are making an offer to purchase the selected compound(s) subject to these Terms. A legally binding contract between you and NexGen Research is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where:

  • The product is out of stock
  • We cannot verify your payment
  • We have reasonable grounds to believe you do not meet our eligibility requirements
  • There has been a pricing or product description error on our website
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for any operational reason

If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund within 5 business days.

4.2 Product descriptions

We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications, and Certificate of Analysis data on nexgenresearch.com are accurate and up to date. All purity figures are based on independent analytical testing of the specific batch at the time of manufacture. Purity results are batch-specific and may vary between lots.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. The appearance of the physical product may differ slightly from images shown on the website.

4.3 Pricing

All prices on nexgenresearch.com are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are correct at the time of display but may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. Shipping costs are displayed separately at checkout before you complete payment.

5. Payment

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Bank transfer (institutional and bulk orders — contact research@nexgenresearch.com)

By providing your payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Payment is taken in full at the time of order. Your order will not be processed until payment has been confirmed.

NexGen Research does not store your full payment card details. All card data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

6. Shipping and delivery

6.1 Cold-chain shipping

All NexGen Research compounds are shipped via specialist cold-chain logistics. The following options are available:

  • UK Standard Cold-Chain: £9.99 — free on orders over £100
  • UK Express Cold-Chain: £19.99 — available for orders placed before 14:00 GMT on business days
  • EU Cold-Chain: £24.99
  • International Cold-Chain: £34.99 — rest of world

Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. NexGen Research is not liable for delays caused by our logistics partners, customs clearance, adverse weather, or any other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6.2 Delivery address

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address at checkout. NexGen Research cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or misdelivery resulting from an incorrect address provided by you. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-delivery charges will apply.

6.3 Risk and title

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. Title in the goods passes to you upon receipt of full payment.

6.4 Temperature integrity

All shipments include temperature indicator cards. If your order arrives with temperature indicators showing an excursion outside the acceptable range, you must notify us at research@nexgenresearch.com within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement shipment at our discretion. If you fail to notify us within 24 hours of delivery, we cannot accept liability for temperature excursions occurring after delivery.

6.5 International orders

You are responsible for ensuring that the import of research compounds is lawful in your country or jurisdiction. NexGen Research is not liable for any customs delays, import duties, taxes, or confiscation of goods by customs authorities. Import duties and taxes are payable by the recipient and are not included in our prices.

7. Cancellations and refunds

7.1 Cancellations before dispatch

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched by contacting research@nexgenresearch.com. If your order has already been dispatched we are unable to cancel it.

7.2 Returns

Due to the nature of research-grade compounds and cold-chain shipping requirements, we are unable to accept returns of opened or used products. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with a fault, please contact research@nexgenresearch.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence. We will assess your claim and, where we determine the goods to be genuinely faulty or damaged in transit, we will offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion.

7.3 Statutory cancellation rights

If you are a consumer purchasing as an individual, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. However, this right does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or have been unsealed after delivery for health protection or hygiene reasons. Given the nature of lyophilised peptide compounds, the right to cancel does not apply once the sealed vial has been opened or once cold-chain integrity cannot be guaranteed on return.

7.4 Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed.

8. Intellectual property and certificates of analysis

8.1 Website content

All content on nexgenresearch.com including text, images, product descriptions, logos, the NexGen Research brand, and the Research Intelligence blog is owned by or licensed to NexGen Research Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

8.2 Certificates of Analysis

Certificates of Analysis provided with orders and available via our COA verification portal relate to the specific batch tested. You may use your COA for legitimate research record-keeping. COAs may not be modified, falsified, or used to misrepresent the products supplied.

8.3 Research outputs

NexGen Research makes no claim to any research data, findings, or intellectual property generated by you using compounds purchased from us. Your research outputs are your own.

9. Prohibited uses

You must not use nexgenresearch.com or any NexGen Research products:

  • For any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms
  • To administer any compound to a human or animal
  • To resell or commercially redistribute compounds purchased from us
  • To circumvent our researcher eligibility requirements
  • To provide false information at checkout or during account registration
  • To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
  • To scrape, harvest, or collect data from our website by automated means
  • To upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
  • In any way that could damage the reputation of NexGen Research

Breach of this section may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.

10. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, and notifying us immediately at research@nexgenresearch.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not share your account credentials with any other person.

NexGen Research reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time where we have reasonable grounds to believe these Terms have been breached, including providing false eligibility information, misuse of our products, or fraudulent activity.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NexGen Research Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of any compound outside of its intended laboratory research purpose
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive loss or damage
  • Loss of profits, revenue, business, data, or goodwill
  • Any loss arising from your failure to comply with these Terms or applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Any delay or failure in delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control
  • Any temperature excursion occurring after delivery where you have not notified us within 24 hours

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under English law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NexGen Research Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of any compound, your violation of any applicable law, or any false representation made in connection with your order or account.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

NexGen Research compounds are supplied as research materials only. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, that any compound is suitable for any specific research purpose or will produce any particular result. All purity and analytical data provided in Certificates of Analysis relates to the specific batch tested at the time of manufacture.

Our website is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant that nexgenresearch.com will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

14. Force majeure

NexGen Research shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government action, civil unrest, strikes, courier failures, or failure of third-party systems. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable if a force majeure event affects your order.

15. Privacy and data protection

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at nexgenresearch.com/privacy-policy. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. You and NexGen Research irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also be entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from an order, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at research@nexgenresearch.com. We will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably within 14 business days. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by our internal dispute resolution process.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms which shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping and Returns Policy, and Research Use Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and NexGen Research in relation to your use of nexgenresearch.com and the purchase of our products.

20. Changes to these terms

NexGen Research reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version published on nexgenresearch.com at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. We will notify registered account holders of any material changes by email. Your continued use of nexgenresearch.com after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
